Overview

What Pilot Training Involves

Pilot training combines academic ground study with practical flying hours — both are required to earn a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) in India and abroad.

DGCA Ground Classes

Subject-focused DGCA training covering Air Regulations, Meteorology, Navigation, Technical General, and Radio Telephony with mock tests and exam preparation.

Flying Hours

A minimum of 200 flying hours is required for a CPL. Students complete this at a DGCA-approved flying school in India or at international schools abroad.

License Progression

The standard pathway: Student Pilot License (SPL) → Private Pilot License (PPL) → Commercial Pilot License (CPL) → Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
